Planting a shasta in the rain
among budded roses
Greens so vibrant they tremble
Must dig deeper
despite rocks (the fence in progress)
A row of holes--a rather hefty gopher
do NOT wear your shoes into the house, darling
take a bath
and clean, rather exhausted, purring
dream of sunnier days
